We Believe

GEP believes that, even though children may be severely challenged by academic, social, financial, and other serious problems, they have the potential to develop into healthy young adults. Through working with horses, children can learn the value of hard work, team work, conflict resolution, and effective communication skills. Horses bolster self-esteem and encourage responsibility in children.  Utilizing horses as a tool to teach character skill lessons helps GEP reach the hard-to-reach child.  Our goal is to foster and mentor children experiencing challenges so that they may develop into healthy, productive members of the family, the community, and society.
